The Out Lap

This weekend in Hungary brings us over the halfway point of the season, and I think it is safe to say this season has surprised all of us in its competitiveness.

Does Mercedes do the unthinkable and win a 3rd weekend in a row?

Does McLaren finally get a result their car is worthy of?

Does Checo start his much needed rebound to keep face and settle the rumours of the performance clause in his contract?

We still have unfilled seats for next season and with only 2 more races before the summer break, the next couple of weeks are going to shape the talking points and rumours during the month long break.

Liam Lawson is reported to have had a successful testing session at Silverstone with Red Bull, showing to be within a few tenths of Max. This pace is within “the window Red Bull needs it to be”.

There wasn’t a ton of news since the British GP but the drivers all kept busy. Look in our News From the Week section to check out what some of them were up to.

The Weekend Weather = HOT
